Here you can fine-tune how Opera remembers pages you have visited.

History

You can decide how far back to remember:

Links you have followed in a page (click the triangles on the Back and Forward buttons)
Web addresses entered in the address field (click the triangle next to the address field)
Web pages visited altogether

Disk and RAM cache

Increase the disk cache if you want to keep local copies of Web pages longer.

Try lowering RAM cache values to browse faster on old computers.

Server checking

Checking for Web page modifications less often speeds up page loading, but you may not always get the newest version of the page.

Redirection only happens on a few sites, so turn off redirection checking to browse faster. If browsing suddenly comes to a stop on a particular site, try turning redirection checking back on.
